Stockvike observation tower

Wednesday, Cécile and I went to the observation tower of Stockvike to join some people working on the project for bird watching. It’s a beautiful place and the late afternoon light was really nice. We saw quite a lot of birdies, including: white-tailed eagle, barnacle goose, black-tailed godwits, ruffs, avocets, lapwings, shelducks, northern shovelers, garganey … We had a very good time. We also saw a fox eating eggs it had stolen from birds nesting on the ground (either swans or goose)! I’m putting some photos so you can see how the place looks like. The photos through the scope aren’t that great, but at least better than with just my camera!
